Iowa artist James Goetz to exhibit months of January and February at The Lift. (Show runs through end of February)

My name is James Goetz. I moved to Des Moines a little over 3 years ago to concentrate on my art. I'm mostly self-taught and been showing my work in local galleries and coffee shops. I consider myself very green. Most of my paintings are painted on recycled items. I mostly paint with acrylics and love using my fingers more than brushes. I’m also using new techniques to create different works of art every day.

Hand made jewelry will also be available for purchase at opening.
